Project Overview

Client Requirement: The client sought an artist capable of creating a mural that captures the tropical energy and complements the sunset views and natural beauty of the surroundings. The goal was to find a unique and creative vision that would harmonize with the balcony’s environment.

Artistic Style Desired:

  • Bright and Vivid Colors: Use of rich, saturated hues to bring energy to the space.
  • Nature Elements: Depictions of tropical flora and fauna, including birds, flowers, and animals to create a lively atmosphere.
  • Dynamic Composition: An engaging and full composition with intertwining elements to add depth and interest.
  • Detailed and Stylized Imagery: Clear, illustrative quality with detailed yet stylized artworks to enhance visual appeal.
  • Tropical and Exotic Vibes: Overall feel of lush, vibrant paradise evoking tropical beauty.

The combination of these elements aimed to produce a mural that not only enhances the space but also captures the essence of the tropics, making it a focal point that complements the stunning sunset views from the balcony.

Submission Guidelines & Compensation

Artists were invited to submit a brief proposal outlining their concept for the mural, including examples of previous work. Submissions were required via a specified form, along with a link to their online portfolio or social media showcasing their art.  The property owner was able to rate and select the most appealing designs. To help with the final decision, we consulted on the artist’s reputation and likeness of executing the project on time and quality. The selected artist received a payment of $600 directly from the property owner.

Selected Artist

Specializing in pop art influenced by the likes of Roy Lichtenstein and Marvel comics, Registered Artist’s street art can be seen throughout most Miami area neighborhoods. RA is a voracious guerilla artist who puts his work on display through stencils, decals, wheat pastes, murals, and stickers both at home and throughout his travels worldwide. Yet Registered Artist finds the time to exhibit his art regularly in solo and group art shows in local galleries as well as in other parts of the world.
