Christian Stanley is an Orlando-based muralist, graphic designer, and illustrator. Having graduated from the University of Central Florida’s graphic design program in 2011, his work encompasses a broad range of styles and mediums. Born and raised in Stuart, Florida, Christian’s art is influenced by his Florida roots and love for the wildlife of the Southeast. Christian worked for 9 years in large-scale graphic creation and installation before launching C.Stanley Creative as a professional muralist.
Drawing inspiration for his work from nature, and from the locations in which he is
working, Christian takes pride in the process of placemaking. He strives to make each wall a unique expression of the community while creating art that will become iconic and beloved by passersby. His projects often incorporate local history and folklore to connect with and honor the communities in which he is painting.
In 2021, Christian was invited to the Paint Memphis Mural Festival in Memphis, Tennessee, the Dixieland Mural Project in Lakeland, Fl, and the Inverness Festival of the Arts (mural installation) in Inverness, Florida. Christian spent the summer of 2022 traveling the country painting murals, which included works in the Las Vegas Arts District and the “A Mural Movement” project in Clay Center, Kansas. Most recently, Christian painted at the Titan Walls Street Art Festival in Chicago.
For Christian, there is no typical day on the job, and he embraces each opportunity to grow as an artist and connect with the community through live painting events, school visits, and gallery shows.
