Igor Velikiy is a Ukrainian-born public artist, creative technologist, and engineer, known for his visionary work blending kinetic sculpture, light, and water. He is the founder and Creative Director of DION Art Studio, an international design-build firm with offices in Chicago and Ukraine. Since 2008, Igor has led a multidisciplinary team in producing over a hundred large-scale installations across Europe and the United States, transforming public spaces with immersive, emotionally resonant artworks.

With a background in engineering and a passion for creative innovation, Igor specializes in the design and fabrication of interactive fountains, parametric water features, and kinetic light installations. His projects often explore movement, symmetry, and sensory experience—bridging precision mechanics with poetic expression.
