Koz Dos was born in Caracas, Venezuela, and came of age as a graffiti writer in the neighborhoods surrounding Caracas. Initially, as a graffiti writer doing primarily tags and bombs, his style and technique grew and changed from representational and figurative graffiti to a more complex style utilizing different techniques garnered from his study of art, images, drawing, and color. His current work is a more conceptual and symbolic narrative with realistic and representative imagery juxtaposed with geometric designs utilizing lines, circles, and triangles. Within his work, he creates sections of space with planes of color that complete and unify his figurative imagery and backgrounds.

Koz Dos mixes the human and natural realms within his work. He confronts the intersection of people and their influence, and encroachment, on the natural environment. His work shows the conflict while also giving way to reflection. It gives the viewer an entry point to think about the coexistence, harmony, and integration of both worlds, within the figurative images he creates. Although in real life there is little peaceful coexistence, in the world he creates, Koz Dos establishes a visual dialog. He allows for a thoughtful investigation of the conflict, showing us that art can provoke discourse and build bridges of possibility.

Koz Dos has created murals, exhibited in galleries and museums at home in Venezuela and throughout the Americas in countries such as Ecuador, Colombia, Brazil, Chile, and the United States. Additionally, he has also participated in numerous mural festivals around the globe creating large-scale murals. His murals can be found in Germany, Austria, Spain, Cyprus, France, Romania, Italy, and the United States. His work can also be found in private collections.
