Cuban-American artist and <a href="https://monochronicle.com/artist/visionary-fam/">Visionary FAM</a> event producer Jesus Martinez was born and raised in Miami, Florida where he started making art at the early age of 12 by sneaking out do graffiti on the streets under the name Seck 37. Eventually, his love of Hop Hop street culture merged with the mysticism of Rastafarian culture which help him bring more positivity to his work, and after having children he felt inspired to transform his life through fitness.
He dedicated himself to doing CrossFit training, and within one year he was able to drop 100lbs. He felt so inspired that he opened his own gym in California and then Gainesville as Visionary CrossFit, to help others transform their lives through health and fitness. The gym became an art gallery as Seck would develop whiteboard art to go with the daily workouts he was writing. He started painting again and rebranded his transformative space Visionary FAM (Fitness, Art, Music) which hosted art and Dj shows to support the underground culture.
Seck's dedication to his craft has given him a mastery of a variety of artistic styles, and his incredible creative energy has given rise to a rapidly expanding portfolio of large-scale murals over 120 walls for both indoor and outdoor spaces. Seck's mission is to share his vision of peace, love, and unity for all and to expand the Visionary FAM worldwide so that he can inspire positive change through fitness, art, and music.
