To create equitable and inclusive environments in public art, we must first understand the current landscape. At Monochronicle, we have been analyzing artist demographics and project statistics to identify underrepresented minorities and address existing inequalities.

Active Artists: These are artists registered on the Monochronicle platform who actively apply for projects. Commissioned Artists: Artists with completed or commissioned projects listed on Monochronicle.

As illustrated by the charts below, the majority of active artists and those selected for commissions are predominantly white males. This trend highlights a significant need for change.
