“Hi there! My name is Jessica Schwiers and I am a professional graphic designer and muralist from Myrtle Beach, SC. I specialize in custom murals, branding, and rebranding businesses. I am a Coastal Carolina University Alumni and have experience in promotion design, outdoor advertising, concrete design, and painting. Lots of painting!

My father was a professional sport fisherman and private boat captain. I draw my creative inspiration from the sport fish they would bring to the docks. The nautical life, and the imagery related, heavily influences my artist expression along with the Lowcountry environment around me.

Throughout the years, I worked for sign & promotion companies while painting murals on my free time. I was climbing the ladder until the year of 2020. I decided that I needed a change. I started Barnacle Born Designs full-time creating hand painted signage, custom murals, and concrete decorating. A year later, I was given the opportunity to manage & design for a well established local outdoor advertising and sign company. Today, with my knowledge in multiple fields of advertising, I give my customers a unique opportunity to have all of their branding needs met in one place.

To put it simply, in the advertising world, you have only a few seconds to catch the eye and to communicate your message. I work one on one with clients to ensure that their custom designs are created to connect with people, stand out, and communicate their brand message effectively.”
