Biography

Carolina Sardi:
<blockquote>"I was born in Argentina and I have a master's degree in sculpture from the National University of La Plata in my country.
I also studied Architecture and Urbanism. I live in Miami since 1995.
My pieces are about the deep connections between every component of the universe. Although I work mainly with metal, my sculptures and installations have an organic sensibility that reflects my interest in the basic interactions of life. The use of negative and positive spaces are my response to the search of balance between opposites.
I have a broad experience in designing, fabricating and installing public, corporate and private art projects.
My work has been exhibited in international art fairs, museums and galleries in the United States, Europe, Asia and Latin America.
The concept behind each artworks is for me as important as the aesthetic image. Subjects and messages are open to personal interpretations. The interaction with the public brings forth different ways of reading each composition."</blockquote>
