This mural is a story about the local area and my life growing up near the river. The mural is by the riverwalk, and includes a poem I wrote at the top, imagery from local native plants and animals, and a message in symbolism at the bottom.

This is a mural for a children’s play area. It is itself about play and how games have rules. I use those same means to evoke play in my art and every section is an opportunity to utilize color and shape.

This is a smaller painting that is about spiritual growth and wisdom in nature. The portal is a symbol for the external world that is also the internal. This loop defines the I inside the We and is expressive of harmony and chaos.

This illustrative painting is grounded in story. The artwork is about utilizing shapes and building momentum through repetitions. I picked these plants on a walk where I saw three crows and made this composition afterwards.
