Closed - Cuscowilla Nature and Retreat Center Mural
About the Project
Cuscowilla Nature & Retreat Center offers a children’s day camp each June and July; public park amenities including a walking trail, paddle craft access to George’s Pond, swimming in our Olympic sized swimming pool; event space; and overnight camping in air-conditioned cabins or tent camping in our primitive camping area. The 12×5 concrete slab was originally used as a donors monument. However, Alachua County purchased the property in 2017 and now wishes to paint a mural on the slab as a photo op for campers and visitors to the property.
