InLight Digital Art & Light Festival 2025
We seek talented digital and light artists, sculptors, projection designers, and creatives working with interactive technologies to participate in the InLight Digital Art & Light Festival. The location and timing is currently under consideration (Florida). If you have a passion for digital innovation and a flair for dynamic, engaging designs, we want to connect with you! At the moment we are building a roster of artists that can be invited for InLight Festival or other similar projects.
Now in its second year, InLight transforms public spaces with luminous artworks, projection mapping, and interactive installations, creating an immersive nighttime experience for the community. We invite proposals for site-specific installations, digital and light-based sculptures, projection works, or interactive media that bring light, movement, and artistic innovation to the festival.
What We Are Looking For
We welcome brief proposals in various mediums, including but not limited to:
- LED light sculptures – freestanding or wall-mounted installations using LED arrays.
- Projection mapping – onto buildings, trees, water surfaces, or interactive spaces.
- Kinetic and mechanical light sculptures – moving or shape-shifting illuminated structures.
- Augmented reality (AR) and mixed-media installations – integrating light and digital overlays.
- Interactive installations – works that respond to audience presence, movement, or sound.
- Light, lasers, and water installations – floating or reflective artworks utilizing digital projection or illuminated elements.
- Generative digital art – works created with coding, AI, or creative programming tools such as TouchDesigner.
- Experiential and immersive environments – multi-sensory installations combining visuals, sound, and interactive components.
All selected artworks must be safe for outdoor display, durable in various weather conditions, and compatible with the available infrastructure.
Funding & Support
This budget varies and may be awarded to one or multiple installations based on the scope and feasibility of the proposals. Artists are encouraged to outline their budget needs within their application. The artwork will be on display for 2-4 days and can be offered for sale. Note: in case of successful sale we allocate 20% of the revenue to Monochronicle. For more information, contact us.
How to Apply
Interested artists should submit the following via the form below:
- Project Proposal – A brief description of the proposed artwork, including its concept, technical requirements (any power, space, or special setup), and interactivity (if applicable).
- Visuals – Links or images of past projects, especially related to digital art and light installations, examples, renderings, sketches, or a mock-up of the proposed work. We allow AI-generated images to represent the idea.
Selection Process
Submissions will be reviewed by a curatorial team based on creativity, feasibility, and alignment with the festival’s vision. Note: If not selected for this year, all applications will be considered for future editions of InLight, other projects, or considered to be listed on the marketplace.
