Ankhone brings over 25 years of international muralism expertise. Originally from France and based in Montreal for the past 15 years, he has dedicated a career to transforming massive urban surfaces. Having lived and worked across multiple continents, he specializes in adapting artistic narratives to local contexts, ensuring every project resonates deeply with its specific community and environment.
Nika Keys complements this foundation with a rigorous academic background and a dynamic visual style. Raised in Germany and based in British Columbia before settling in Montreal in 2019, Nika’s practice evolved from graffiti roots into a disciplined exploration of light, shadow, and depth. Holding a graduate degree in Fine Arts and Feminist Art History (University of Victoria, Concordia University), Nika specializes in representational and abstract approaches, utilizing trompe-l’œil effects to create optical illusions that breathe life into architecture. With over seven years of professional experience, Nika has executed projects across Western Canada and Québec, collaborating with renowned collectives like AShop and Project TYXNA, and participating in major festivals from all around the world.
Together, we offer a unique synergy: Ankhone’s mastery of grand scale and community engagement meets Nika’s sophisticated handling of light, texture, and architectural integration. Our process balances autonomy with collaboration; we begin with detailed mockups to guide the vision, yet remain responsive to the wall’s environment, ensuring the final work feels dynamic, tactile, and alive.
